As a general guideline, it is recommended that you commence with half a teaspoon per day, mixed with a cold liquid or sprinkled on cold food. If there are no adverse reactions from the body, then slowly increase the amount until you are taking two tablespoons each day. This will most likely be over 1-2 months' time. It is easy to increase the dosage by half teaspoon increments. You may notice a smoother movement in your bowels and a general sense of overall wellbeing. | Usage for Those with Gluten Intolerance:

In regular barley grain there is gluten. However, gluten intolerances are developed from eating food that is not sprouted, fermented or activated in the raw form, thus the body cannot break down the gluten. The BarleyGold™ has the active enzymes present needed to break down the gluten proteins inside the grain.
Since Celiacs are deficient in these enzymes, they should start with a few grains a day and slowly build up over time until their body has enough active enzymes to digest and assimilate the BarleyGold™ properly.

| A One Month Supply

Each container holds approximately a one-month supply. However, when starting, the first jar or two will last from one and a half months to two months since you are starting with an initial smaller serving size.
